Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design solutions for Defence projects.
* Provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions, new approaches, and techniques to design and development of new products and problem-solving.
* Develop concept design, preliminary, and detailed design analysis of structural and mechanical products utilising CAD 3D Solid Modelling and CAE FEA software applications.
* Prepare professional technical reports and assist with preparation of tender responses.
* Conduct site inspections and measurement, including provision of condition reports and as-built manufacturing drawings and associated records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Australian Citizenship
* Experience with CAD 3D Solid Modelling, CAE FEA, and conducting design reviews
* Proficient in professional technical report writing
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience in coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
