Logistics Supply Chain Manager - January 2026 Start Date
C-130J Program
Join the team supporting one of the world's most iconic aircraft. The C-130J Hercules is renowned for its versatility, reliability, and mission capability—trusted by the Australian Defence Force to deliver personnel, capability, and aid anywhere, anytime.
As Logistics Supply Chain Manager, you will lead logistics support for the C-130J Through Life Support (TLS) Program, maintaining supply chain capability, inventory, asset management, and logistics support services. You will also mentor and develop the logistics team to ensure the Program meets its critical operational commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Supply Chain Team, providing mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
* Maintain and improve Program Supply Support capability, including inventory, asset management, and logistics services.
* Provide logistics policy and procedural advice to Program stakeholders, including Prime, Airbus, and Commonwealth agencies.
* Manage Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS)/Obsolescence plans and reporting.
* Oversee supply chain performance, reporting, and Program reviews including fortnightly Supply Chain updates, Enterprise Logistics Summit, and PMR.
* Collaborate with Airbus MS&L teams to deliver coordinated Program logistics solutions.
About you:
Essential:
* Significant experience in Defence or similar logistics environments, including supply chain, asset management, and inventory control.
* Strong personnel management experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management and customer liaison skills.
* Experience using Inventory Management Systems.
Desirable:
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of Defence logistics environments.
* Experience in Program Office support.
