The Senior Fire Safety Engineer will contribute to the success of our Infrastructure Buildings and Defence team in Australia, empowering employees and supporting development within a culture of trust.The Opportunity: To support our existing portfolio of national projects, we are looking for a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join our Infrastructure Buildings and Defence team.
You will assist and develop fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects.
You will lead projects and work directly with major clients, with opportunities to grow our presence in NSW and lead fire safety projects across NSW and QLD.ResponsibilitiesAssist and develop fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects.Lead projects and work directly with major clients.Grow and lead fire safety activities in NSW, guiding projects from a fire safety perspective across NSW and QLD.Qualifications and RequirementsAustralian citizenship and either hold or be eligible for security clearance with the Australian Defence Force.Working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and fire safety engineering processes in Australia.Demonstrated ability to analyse and manage design work and engineering tasks.Ability to plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgement in independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.Ability to prepare and verify design calculations in fire engineering and modelling.Competence in preparing and reviewing reports and technical specifications.High level competence in the practice of fire engineering within a consulting and project environment.Role DetailsSeniority Level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingBenefits and CultureIndustry-leading salaries reviewed annually.20 days of annual leave per year plus an additional day off every 4 weeks (33 days total).
