Our Nutrien Ag Solutions **** Livestock Career Development Program will provide the skills and training you need to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock Industry.
The program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Livestock activity while completing an in-house Certificate in Livestock Marketing.
During the 24-month programme (roles are all permanent), all Livestock Trainees will be involved in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to you to provide ongoing support.
As part of the Livestock Career Development Programme, you'll have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by our experienced livestock employees and leaders, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques.

Business skills
Compliance, sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem-solving and negotiation and leading and managing a team
Livestock skills
Next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging technology
Who are we looking for?
Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry, excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities
Successful completion of Year 12
Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock
Be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the programme
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident – temporary visa holders are not eligible for this programme
Be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination
The ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills and leadership potential
Genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the Livestock Industry
Successful applicants will be offered a position in October to commence the role in February **** to support in the peak season.
