About the RoleAs our Internal Communications Advisor (12 months fixed term), you’ll play a key role in strengthening employee engagement and ensuring our workforce feels informed, valued, and aligned to our purpose. You’ll be the go-to expert for crafting clear, timely and effective communication across a diverse operational environment. We are open to flexible part time hours for the right candidate.
You’ll partner closely with leaders, operational teams, HSEC, HR and frontline supervisors to support internal messaging that drives safety, culture, performance and change.
You willDevelop and deliver communication plans that support business priorities, safety initiatives and organisational change.Create engaging content for multiple channels: email updates, intranet posts, employee newsletters, digital screens, toolbox talks and leadership coaching and advice to leaders to help lift communication capability across the site.Own and continually improve our internal communication channels and tools.Support crisis and incident communications in coordination with senior leaders and safety teams.Bring energy and creativity to internal campaigns, events and engagement activities.
About YouExperience in internal communications, PR, corporate affairs or a related field.Strong writing skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.A proactive mindset and passion for building an engaged, informed workforce.Mining or heavy industry experience is valued, but not essential.Great attitude and willingness to support team with other administration tasks.
