Okta is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to qualify, nurture and develop inbound leads and prospect target accounts to set opportunities that generate demand for our sales organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Qualify, nurture and develop a substantial volume of inbound leads.
- Prospecting for new business opportunities via outbounding initiatives.
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for the Account Executives.
- Utilize active listening skills to uncover customer needs and business outcomes.
- Willingness to collaborate with other members of the sales and marketing organization to drive deals forward.
- Use and maintain our SaaS toolkit (SDFC, Outreach etc) to keep data accurate.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or at least one year of professional work experience.
- Experience in B2B or B2C Sales in any industry is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate different systems and tools and follow process.
- Driven individual who thrives working towards monthly and quarterly quotas.
