Our client is a leading name in the Boat Building & Marine Maintenance industry, with over 30 years of experience servicing a wide range of vessels across the Sydney basin.
From custom builds and structural repairs to high-end fit-outs, they offer a full suite of boat-building services.
Their team collaborates with all related marine trades including mechanics, electricians, trimmers, and fabricators, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality result on every project.
About The Opportunity

Working on a broad variety of boats – from power to sail – you’ll gain exposure to a wide array of marine craftsmanship.
You'll play a hands-on role delivering outstanding outcomes across premium repair, customisation and fit-out projects.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing general boat building tasks including structural repairs and refinishing
- Undertaking timber and fibreglass works, including gelcoat repairs and custom moulding
- Installing through-hull fittings, propulsion systems and running gear
- Completing marine cabinetry and interior fit-outs
- Constructing and maintaining teak decks and other premium finishes
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Shipwright or hold a Certificate in Marine Craft Construction, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the marine industry (preferred).
You will also bring the following:
- Your own reliable transport and valid car & boat licences
- A strong understanding of hand tools and their applications
- A team-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for craftsmanship
- A professional, courteous and presentable manner
