We're looking for a Junior FinOps Data Analyst to join our high-performing FinOps team at TechnologyOne.
This is a 3-month fixed term, part-time entry-level role working three days per week.
In this early career position, you'll play an important part in supporting the team's day-to-day financial operations, focusing on credit management, claims processing, and basic reconciliations. You'll build your skills in cloud financial operations while contributing to initiatives that deliver real cost savings and efficiency gains.
What you'll be doing...
* Enter and maintain accurate data in Excel, tracking contracts and credits.
* Check entitlement criteria against program rules or internal guidelines.
* Prepare and submit claims through vendor consoles with full documentation and clear justification.
* Ensure all claims have the required evidence, approvals, and outcome notes.
* Produce weekly credit status updates and month-end checklists.
* Follow SOPs and templates, suggesting small process improvements or automation opportunities.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather documentation and approvals.
* Share progress updates and flag any issues in team standups.
* Identify opportunities to automate workflows, leverage AI, and reduce costs.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a methodical approach to tasks.
* Confident using Excel, including filters, lookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
* Clear written communication skills, with the ability to follow procedures and maintain audit-ready documentation.
* Interest in cloud, finance, or operations, and a willingness to learn AWS billing concepts.
* Curiosity about AI and automation.
* Previous experience in business analysis or finance administration is a plus.
* Ability to work three days per week and manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
