The Opportunity As Government and Industry Engagement Manager, you will lead Built’s national government relations and industry engagement agenda, strengthening relationships, influence and positioning across Commonwealth and state jurisdictions.
You will:
Lead and deliver Built’s national government relations and industry engagement strategy
Provide strategic political, public policy and stakeholder advice to senior leaders and the Executive Leadership Team
Build and maintain strong relationships with government, policymakers, peak bodies and industry leaders
Represent Built in industry‑led, government‑adjacent and policy forums
Track and interpret political and policy developments to inform work‑winning, risk and reputation
Coordinate external government relations consultants across key states
What we are looking for
Experience in government relations, industry engagement or public policy, ideally within construction or infrastructure
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate policy insight into practical business advice
Confidence advising senior executives and representing an organisation externally
Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive‑level briefing capability
A professional, politically neutral and collaborative approach
