Your expertise will ensure the provision of high-quality triage, safe mental health assessment, therapeutic interventions and referral services. Your responsibilities will include: Working with adults (18 to 65 years old) who present with various mental health matters; Developing a clear understanding of your clients through case formulation and assessment; Providing counselling and evidence-based interventions in brief, moderate, extended and group forms; Monitoring client risk factors; Taking accurate case notes and complying with the quality framework; Working closely with other allied health professionals in the community for referral and outreach; and Participating in community events and advocacy that build the profile and accessibility of the centre. About you: To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in an Allied Mental Health discipline and be registered with an appropriate professional association and /or AHPRA. You will have had experience in an equivalent clinical position within a mental health service and have demonstrated experience in case management, care coordination and evidence-based intervention.
