**The Company**
Launch is excited to be working with a leading Victorian Government organisation. We are looking for a Technology Delivery Specialist/Portfolio Lead to provide technical delivery management/leadership, functional and work management co-ordination to agile delivery teams and to initiative-based project teams.
**The Role**
The Technology Delivery Specialist/Portfolio Lead will work closely with technical and business product owners and is responsible for managing product backlogs, project budgets, enforcing and driving deadlines, supervising team members, visualising work and providing regular multidimensional stakeholder reporting.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Leading project planning sessions, requirement gathering, backlog refinements, sprint reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, steering committees and project working groups
- Provide project management process and technology leadership across projects and IT Ops teams and ensure adherence to defined policies, procedures and work practices.
- Coordinate business, IT and external resources to enable smooth delivery of pipeline deliverables under both agile and waterfall project delivery methodologies
- Manage day-to-day project activities, facilitate scrum team deliverables and support service activities, monitor staff performance and assist line managers with performance reviews for internal staff.
- Provide multidimensional status reporting regarding project/scrum deliverables highlighting dependencies, risks, issues, timeline, scope and budget. Also ensure regular communication to respective sponsors, the IT leadership team and to key stakeholders
**About You** To be successful you will need:
- 7+ years of proven experience in IT project delivery with demonstratable experience managing complex projects under rigid governance frameworks
- 3+ years working as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master, ideally in a multi-project, scaled environment, implementing and uplifting agile practices and governance, including running stand-ups, backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives, show cases, stakeholder reporting, facilitating steering committees etc.
- Demonstratable experience in project lifecycle management including business case, project initiation, planning, implementation, track and manage issues and risks, prepares appropriate project meeting minutes, produce multidimensional reporting, experience with post implementation reviews.
- Demonstratable experience operating in scrappy environments and entrepreneurial drive to get things done in a fast-moving environment where objectives can change, multiple work streams are in play and priorities compete.
