Research Leadership Position
This senior leadership role will assist the Director of a statewide mental health research program to implement and lead a multi-disciplinary initiative. The program encompasses neuroscience, clinical mental health research, population mental health research, and mental health services research.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading and managing a high-performing health service or research organisation, with extensive knowledge of tertiary academic research environments and policies. They will also possess exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a high performing team and establish rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing and leading a statewide mental health research program.
* Assisting the Director in policy development and implementation.
* Managing a high-performing team and establishing effective working relationships.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor degree qualification in science, public health, social or behavioural sciences or a related field is required.
* A postgraduate degree is highly desirable.
