Bedarra is a multi-award winning boutique island resort that provides the ultimate barefoot luxury experience to our guests.
We are now recruiting for our 2026 season with an early March start date.
The Place:
Located in Tropical North Queensland approximately 2 hours drive south of Cairns, Bedarra Island Resort is situated just off the coast from Mission Beach, on the Great Barrier Reef.
With only twelve guest villas, we cater to a maximum of 24 guests on the island at any time and offer a private and personalised island experience like no other.
Exceptional dining is one of the cornerstones of the Bedarra experience for our guests, and our small team pride themself on producing an innovative, fresh and constantly changing menu that matches the tropical beauty of the island.
The Roles:
We currently require the skills of an experienced Restaurant Manager, alongside food and beverage attendants to join our dynamic front-of-house team in 2026.
Our beautiful open-air restaurant is the perfect place to curate an incredible dining experience for our guests. With the ever-changing menu designed daily around the best seasonal produce that Far North Queensland has to offer, you will be integral to delivering a guest experience to remember.
With no two days the same, you may drive our nightly cocktail hours – where you get to interact and enjoy the company of our guests whilst delighting them with your creation of the day Or maybe wine is more your thing – with our extensive range you will be able to match our incredible dishes with the perfect pairing.
As we are an all-inclusive resort there is no need for you to worry about charges, dockets or money handling – which gives you more time to concentrate on those more important aspects of service.
Being an island location, we are also seeking candidates who understand the characteristics of living and working in a remote and isolated environment.
The Successful Candidates:
* Experience in up-market or fine dining restaurants, or high-end resorts
* Strong knowledge of local and imported wines
* Cocktail/Barista experience essential
* The ability to display a natural and relaxed style of service whilst being attentive to our guests' needs
* A vibrant, positive and outgoing attitude towards our guests and your fellow team members
