Your main responsibilities
Provide civil project management expertise from project inception to completion
Ensure projects are scoped, designed, built and delivered safely, to required quality, on time and budget
Prepare and execute delivery strategies and employ specialist project management tools to deliver multi-staged projects
Drive operational improvement through the sharing of best practice across the business
Proactive communication and reporting on delivery milestones
Facilitate, manage and drive efficiency through project cost plans in partnership with Development Managers, authorities, consultants and contractors to realise cost savings
Lead the procurement and delivery of civil construction and landscape construction in accordance with the project program
Assist the development team with technical support and delivery inputs
About you
Coming from client-side, contractor, consultancy, or superintendent background, or similar construction experience
You will have relevant Project Management experience with a strong understanding of civil construction works
A sound understanding and demonstrated experience in procurement and the contract administration of Australian Standard construction contracts or modified versions of
You will have great time-management skills and a go-getter attitude, ready to jump straight into the projects and help drive better outcomes
Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills that engage all parties, strong stakeholder management abilities and collaborative approach
Preferably holds a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Environmental) or Construction Management with at least 5 years of experience
