IT Support Specialist Role Overview
The position of IT Support Specialist is a key role in our organization, responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues. This involves monitoring and responding to IT incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Support: Assist users with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Manage Incidents: Monitor and respond to IT incidents in a timely manner.
* Maintain Documentation: Record support activities, including incident reports and resolutions.
* Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years of IT experience.
* A bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience or IT professional certification.
* Availability to work non-business hours, some weekends may be required.
* Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Platforms, especially Active Directory, Defender, Endpoint, Exchange Online, Purview, SharePoint Online, and Team.
* Proficiency with LAN, WAN, and Wireless networking.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and caring attitude.
