Electrical Technician Role

There's an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Technician to join the team in Kidman Park SA, on a permanent fulltime basis.
The successful candidate will perform maintenance activities on all telemetry installations in SA, Alice Springs and Mildura as well as construction, install telemetry systems within the SA Metropolitan & Regional Systems, Alice Springs and Mildura networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Construction, installation and maintenance of telemetry/SCADA equipment and electrical equipment
* Installation, maintenance and calibration of electrical/electronic instruments used for gas measurement e.g. pressure and temperature transmitters, flow computers etc.
* Carry out technical investigations of electrical/electronic systems, assess the results achieved and make recommendations based on this assessment
* Assist the Engineering department for project work at the design and development stage
Requirements:
* Current Class A Workers Electrical Licence
* Certificate I to IV in the Electrical discipline and related course work
* Experience in handling hazardous materials
* Understanding and experience with Electrical Instrumentation equipment and an understanding of the basic principles of gas measurement
