Environment and Building Manager
Join Sutherland Shire Council's Environment and Building Manager role. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high‐quality environmental and building programs, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations and meeting community expectations.
Responsibilities
* Lead the environmental management and building functions, overseeing program delivery, compliance outcomes and technical advice.
* Inspire and empower a multi‐disciplined workforce, coaching and developing teams to deliver exceptional customer experience.
* Collaborate with senior management to shape the future of the Shire, driving strategic initiatives that enhance community wellbeing.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership capability and success in environmental science/management, environmental health, building surveying, town planning or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of legislative obligations, compliance and community engagement.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and customer‐centric approach.
