Role summary: We are looking for a Cartage Coordinator to join our Mascot site. You will execute day-to-day ocean freight operations and support all forms of transport activities. This role ensures the timely and compliant movement of cargo, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring compliance, risk management and operational activities to support corporate governance and compliance of the Company.
* Build strong customer relationships and respond to changes in operational requirements.
* Review and improve business operations to maintain an efficient, low-cost operation, including improving operational processes through the successful implementation of SOPs.
* Develop and implement all Transport and Operational activities required for efficient transportation and distribution of freight.
Key Skills And Qualifications
* Certificate/Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution and/or Transport & Logistics.
* 5+ years in global forwarding with transport experience.
* Relevant people management and leadership experience.
* Ability to communicate clearly the value Toll can deliver to business outcomes and the customer.
* Demonstrated knowledge of global forwarding operations & market (competitors, carriers, clients & services) and local logistics market.
* Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, planning and negotiation/diplomacy abilities.
* Experience in a similar role within warehousing and distribution.
