About the Opportunity
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Supply Support Officer will execute Supply Chain support to ISS programmes, satisfying demands made in support of client requests under contract.
Whats Involved
Maintain the Inventory Management Systems, including initiating catalogue of new inventory items in the IMS.
Assess sourcing requirements by liaising with stakeholders based on supplied estimates, market experience, purchase complexity, sole source consideration and purchase thresholds.
Develop relationships with key suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners to manage lead times and maintain logistic control across local, domestic and international supply portfolios.
Provide input to Supply Support reporting requirements.
Manage issues with goods/services through supplier corrective action process and contribute regularly to the Supplier Risk Report.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Supply Support business processes and procedures.
You'll Need
3 years experience within supply support or logistics.
A formal qualification in either a trade or logistics management would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of asset management standards, systems and processes.
Knowledge of Supply Support management planning and scheduling.
Experience with supply chain management and part interpretation.
