We are seeking an accomplished Earthworks Project Manager to oversee day-to-day earthworks activities, ensuring all operations are delivered safely and efficiently in line with project specifications and environmental standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, subcontractors, and onsite teams to maintain schedule, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage earthworks crews and subcontractors effectively
* Monitor progress and ensure work is completed to specification
* Drive a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE requirements
* Manage daily reporting, permits, and site documentation
* Collaborate with project engineers and stakeholders to resolve site issues
* Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Supervisor or Manager in civil construction or earthworks
* Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
* Strong understanding of earthworks methodologies and quality standards
* Ability to lead teams in a high-performance and safety-focused environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to mobilise immediately
