What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this role is to provide local leadership for the Auburn Hospital Nursing & Midwifery Education Unit, overseeing the nursing and midwifery education portfolio. This includes managing the Gradstart Program and facility-delivered education and training programs within Auburn Hospital and Community Health Services.

Essential Requirements
* Qualifications: As per the Public Health Systems Nurses' and Midwives (State) Award, a Nurse Educator Grade 2 is a Registered Nurse/Midwife with relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
* Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

* Effective and advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to lead and implement change within clinical practice and workplace culture.
* Understanding of adult learning principles and assessment methods.
* Competency in education delivery and facilitation using various tools and technologies.
* Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate education programs aligned with learner needs, achieving outcomes.
* Awareness of current issues in nursing practice and staff education development.
