Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with our Managing Director and our Broker Team to support clients through the full lending journey — from initial assessment to settlement — ensuring every application is accurate, compliant, and positioned for success. Your responsibilities will include:
Loan Assessment & Structuring
- Analyse client financials, income streams, and ownership structures to build accurate statements of position and servicing calculations.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis to inform lending strategies and deal structuring.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities to ensure applications meet both client goals and lender requirements.
- Map out tailored lending structures aligned with client objectives and lender policy.
- Workshop complex scenarios with the Broker to refine deal positioning before presenting to lenders.
Lender Engagement & Application Preparation
- Present scenarios to lenders with clear supporting documentation.
- Engage with lenders to address queries on credit papers and loan scenarios.
- Summarise outcomes from lender discussions to form clear client recommendations.
- Structure client requirements into compliance-ready documentation.
- Assist in preparing and presenting compliance documents and application forms to clients.
Application Submission & Post-Approval
- Submit accurate and complete loan applications to lenders.
- Review loan offer documents with clients, ensuring understanding and accuracy before execution.
- Liaise with lenders on any post-submission queries or conditions.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Work with the team to document and refine our end-to-end loan process for greater efficiency.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems, templates, and client experience.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices.
Key Skills & Attributes
We are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience in credit analysis, loan processing, or para broking (experience with complex lending structures highly regarded).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of data entry, calculations, and documentation.
- Confidence in engaging with lenders, interpreting policy, and resolving credit queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and lender interactions.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in loan application software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with broker CRMs advantageous).
