About the Role:
This Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and securing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web builds, CMS platforms, SEO fundamentals, UX/CRO principles, and marketing automation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process, from initial contact to long-term client relationship management.
2. Outbound & Inbound Sales: Proactively generate new business opportunities while efficiently managing inbound leads.
3. Enterprise Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with CMOs, Heads of Growth, and Marketing Directors to drive revenue and strategy.
4. Pipeline Growth & Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow and revenue generation.
5. Referral & Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic referral partnerships to expand business opportunities.
6. Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with marketing and fulfillment teams to align sales efforts with business goals and client needs.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
1. Sales Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a business development role, preferably in a digital marketing or web development agency.
2. Marketing & Tech Knowledge: Strong understanding of web builds, CMS platforms, SEO fundamentals, UX/CRO principles, and marketing automation.
3. Sales Process Mastery: Excellent time management skills, structured sales approaches, and complex deal cycle management.
4. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM platforms to manage leads, track progress, and optimize sales performance.
5. Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to understand client challenges, position tailored solutions, and negotiate high-value contracts.
