About the Role
Aura Steel has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Steel Sales Traderto join our team, with a focus on business growth by building relationships, leveraging existing networks and exploring new market opportunities across all of Australia.
Overall role requirements include:
* Manage existing customer relationships, including ongoing sales and end-to-end support
* Liaising with suppliers and sourcing of suitable steel products to meet client needs
* Drive further business development through new customer relationships and sales
* Required to travel across Australia to visit customers and new market opportunities
* Attendance at key industry and market events as a representative of the business
* New product development in response to customer demand
* Undertake forecasting, scheduling and annual budgeting to meet business expectations
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
* At least two (2+) years of demonstrated successful experience within a sales role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary sales approach to customers.
Desirable:
* Experience in the importation of Steel materials into Australia.
* Knowledge of steel materials and differing applications.
* Experience in a management position.
* Computer literacy and analytical skills.
