A leading service provider based in Canberra is seeking a Level 3 Network Operations Engineer with strong R&S and juniper skills on a permanent basis for a hybrid role.
This role required NV1 clearance which must not be lapsed.
Responsibilities:
* Supports day-to-day operations, across multivendor hybrid IT environments.
* Proactively identify, investigate, analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner
* Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within client specified change windows.
* Liaise with the client, vendors, and other partners to ensure minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day business operations.
* Mentor L1/L2 Engineers offering technical expertise / guidance
* Proactively identify, contribute, implement, and work with automation teams for effort optimization and automating routine tasks.
* Review architecture, design and as built documentation and make recommendations for improvements.
Key Skills / Experience:
* + 5 years in Cisco R&S- Cisco and Juniper
* Firewalls (Fortigate) ideally
* Managed Services ideally
* Experience in at least 2 of the following: F5, Azure, Fibre channel networking and SDN
