Key responsibilities:
* Preparing tax returns and financial statements for multiple entities (individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies)
* Manage tax compliance obligations including Div7a, GST CGT, FBT, payroll, and property-related matters
* Manage a portfolio of key clients while maintaining quality and compliance standards in line with Australian tax legislation
* Provide technical accounting advice and support to clients, also ensuring timely and effective client updates and communication to address queries
* Oversee and review work from junior team members
Experience and skillset:
* Full CA/CPA qualification (or near completion)
* At least 3+ years' experience working as a public practice accountant
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and statutory requirements
* Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable building meaningful relationships with clients
