Job Description
Helping our residents leave a legacy.
As a HammondCare Biography Writing volunteer in South East Sydney, your listening and writing skills will allow HammondCare residential clients to record their stories, memories, and messages for loved ones.
Ideally, you'll have the following skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- 50 words per minute typing skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Willingness to learn current technology and software. You will be using a Dictaphone and a transcription software program
- Availability for a long term commitment and up-to 5 hours per week. The transcription and editing process can occur in the evenings, while the face-to-face interview will occur on a weekday (Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm) for one hour.

Requirements
One hour each week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time of the week between Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.
18 years and over, National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare• NDIS screening
