ATEC Group Training is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to kickstart their career in air conditioning and refrigeration through a paid apprenticeship. 1st year apprenticeship is available with our valued host employer, Red Tech Refrigeration, a reputable company servicing commercial air conditioning and refrigeration in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
As a highly recognised apprentice and trainee employer service, ATEC manages the entirety of your apprenticeship. You'll be supported by your own dedicated consultant, mentored throughout the duration of your placement, and matched with Red Tech Refrigeration to ensure you receive high-quality on-the-job training in a safe and supportive environment.

This apprenticeship offers you a valuable pathway to gain hands‑on air conditioning and refrigeration experience while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32220) – all while getting paid
About the role:
* Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of air conditioning & refrigeration systems
* Work alongside qualified technicians in varied environments
* Learn to interpret technical diagrams and job instructions
* Develop strong safety practices and industry‑standard skills
* Attend structured off‑the‑job training to complete your qualification
About you:
* Full Australian Working rights
* A current driver's licence and reliable transport
* A genuine interest in the air conditioning and refrigeration trade
* A strong safety awareness and willingness to learn
* Physically fit and a high level of energy for manual work
* Eager to learn with a strong willingness to listen and grow
* In possession of, or willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
Desirable for your application, but not essential
* Completion of a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (UEE22020) or other relevant pathway courses
* Basic understanding of hand and power tools
* Construction White Card
