Overview
Client Service Officer with Court Services, based in Broken Hill (and other Local Courts within the Hub). Ongoing – Full Time. Clerk Grade 1/2, base salary $75,728 – $82,329, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of clerical and administrative services, including responding to customer enquiries, data entry and records management.
* Assist with the effective operation of Court rooms, perform administrative services to meet statutory obligations and deliver high quality professional services to clients.
* Liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, provide high quality support to customers on the counter throughout various courts within the hub, telephone and via email, using computer systems to enter data accurately.
* Support the effective execution of improved work practices.
Qualifications and Eligibility
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* Willing to travel to other locations within the hub, including overnight stays up to a week.
* A departmental motor vehicle will be provided when available and the appropriate allowances paid for travel.
* Strong communication skills; able to take direction and work well within a team.
* Ensure that all work is delivered in a culturally safe environment, utilising your cultural knowledge and understanding of cultural protocols when engaging with stakeholders, clients and communities.
* This position is open to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.
