The Role
This is a field-based role for someone who can walk onto site and be taken seriously.
You’ll be working across industrial, electrical, and heavy equipment environments, building relationships, identifying opportunities early, and driving projects through from concept to delivery.
It’s a mix of account management and new business, but the edge in this role is credibility. You need to understand how things work, not just sell them.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing and growing an existing client base across the NT
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Getting involved early in project discussions and shaping solutions
* Working closely with customers to match products and services to real operational needs
* Building long-term relationships across site, engineering, and management levels
* Managing your own pipeline, reporting, and sales strategy
What You’ll Bring
There’s no single “perfect” background, but you’ll likely be one of the following:
* Trade or technical background (mechanical, electrical, diesel, heavy equipment)
* Engineering background with strong commercial instincts
* Sales experience in industrial, mining, or technical environments
More importantly:
* You can hold your own in a technical conversation on site
* You understand how projects come together, not just how to quote
* You’re commercially minded and know how to win work
* You’re self-driven and comfortable managing your own territory
