About the Role

Chute Services Australia is the go‑to provider for chute cleaning, servicing, and repairs and maintenance, known for our professional team, innovative technology, and commitment to doing things right the first time.
Responsibilities
* Receive and manage daily jobs via our operating system
* Attend customer sites punctually and professionally
* Diagnose and repair chute‑related equipment
* Complete routine chute cleaning and maintenance work to a high standard
* Recommend upgrades or replacements when needed
* Communicate clearly with customers and leave sites clean and tidy
* Maintain detailed and accurate job notes and invoicing
* Keep your service vehicle and uniform clean and presentable
* Flag sales opportunities or additional service needs to the team
* Assist with camera inspections, modifications, or installation work – no two days are the same.
About You
* Has experience working in a service technician, mechanical, or fabrication role
* Qualification of Certificate III or above in Mechanical engineering with minimum of three years of experience in Mechanical maintenance technician role
* Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
* Is practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team
* Can manage multiple jobs and communicate clearly with customers and our office team
* Has a full driver's license and a good driving record
* Is well‑presented, with a friendly and professional approach
* Is eager to learn and open to ongoing training and development
Preferred but not essential skills
* Experience diagnosing and repairing plant, machinery, or equipment breakdowns
* Ability to overhaul or install new equipment and mechanical systems
* Experience in welding and assembling machinery
* A mindset of continuous improvement and problem‑solving
