We are currently searching for a full-time Marketing Specialist and Sales Assistant to join our team at Titley’s Department Store and Titley’s Footwear. As a Marketing Specialist you will be required to advertise our products via social media and other marketing techniques and maintain two websites to a high standard. As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting our sales teams in our Gill Street stores, inventory management, fulfilling online orders, contributing to achieving sales targets & overall business objectives, and providing exceptional customer service. Our stores trade 7 days a week so you must be available to work every third weekend on a rotating roster. This position will be based in Charters Towers, QLD.Hours:Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pmSaturday: 8:45am - 1:10pmSunday: 9:45am - 1:10pm(Every third weekend)Key responsibilities & competencies:As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for:Maintaining two websites to a high standardProduct uploading and managementDesigning graphics for in store and onlineContent creation and social media maintenance (i.e. assessing current trends, product photography, corresponding with customers inquiries, utilising different marketing techniques and platforms, etc.)Creating online salesAchieving online sales targetsAs a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for:Assisting with inventory managementCash handling and processing payments and returnsSales support, up-selling or cross-selling products to customersStocking, merchandising and maintaining the stores overall cleanliness and organisationAssisting in training new employees, and supporting other departments or team members as necessaryProviding excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting them in finding products, answering questions about merchandise, & handling any complaints or issues they may have.Relevant experience & skills:A willingness to learnA dedication to accuracyExperience with inventory control processesProfessional & maintains a positive reputationStrong customer service experience is crucial for this roleExcellent time management, organisational & technical skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal & written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers & higher managementExperience working collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment & in roles related to merchandising, inventory management, or visual displayExperience in marketing preferred but not requiredWhat we offer:We are a growing company that is continually innovating to meet our customer's requirements.
