About The Role
As a Casual Child Care Worker (Early Childhood Educator), you will contribute to a contemporary and engaging educational program that includes:
Bush play and outdoor learning experiences
Movement-based activities
Creative and child-led curriculum programs
You will actively support the centre's philosophy, the Rights of the Child, and the ECA Code of Conduct, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for every child. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues, families and external services (such as schools and therapists) to support individualised learning and developmental progress. You will contribute to documenting children's learning, monitoring development and providing feedback to families and relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include
Engaging meaningfully with children in play and learning experiences
Supporting children to develop functional play skills and learning outcomes
Actively supervising children across all environments
Assisting with routine tasks including cleaning, cooking experiences and portfolio development
Participating in team meetings, curriculum planning, critical reflection and program implementation
Completing required safety training and participating in ongoing professional learning
