We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our workshop team. This is an ongoing permanent position located in our Mackay facility, offering great job variety and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist tradesmen with various tasks
* Collect and organize parts
* Maintain accurate stock records
* Ensure the yard and facilities are clean and well-maintained
* Operate heavy machinery such as Forklifts and Franna cranes (licenced)
* Support with machine handovers and stock management
Requirements:
* A valid MR (or higher) truck licence
* Proactive problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Familiarity with iPads/laptops and stocktaking software
* Physical ability to complete 12-hour shifts
