About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Aged Care Workforce Development Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in underserved communities by strengthening Australia's National Home and Community Aged Care workforce.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting candidates throughout their journey, from initial enquiry through to referral into meaningful employment and accredited or non-accredited training pathways.
This is a federally funded program dedicated to attracting, training, retaining, and supporting the next generation of the Home and Community Care workforce across Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and follow up candidate leads with personalised support.
* Assess candidate suitability and help identify clear career pathways.
* Provide mentoring, coaching, and assistance with resumes, applications, and interviews.
* Support candidates to access both accredited and non-accredited training programs.
* Collaborate closely with the Engagement Team to refer candidates to suitable employers and training providers.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Experience in recruitment, workforce development, employment services, or candidate support. Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and coaching.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Knowledge of aged care or disability sectors and relevant compliance requirements.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
* Experience working with rural, regional, or remote communities is highly regarded.
