Quality Assurance Manager | Employer: Risk 2 Solution Pty Ltd | Location: Brisbane, QLD | Position: Full-time | Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
About the Role
Risk 2 Solution (R2S) is seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Assurance and Project Delivery Manager to join our Security Division. Based in our Brisbane office, this role will be central to maintaining and improving our Quality and Risk Management Systems in line with ISO9001 and ISO31000 standards.
Working alongside our security team and divisional managers, you will review, analyse, and implement best-practice quality standards, while driving continuous improvement across the division. This is a strategic role with direct involvement in security risk management, project delivery, and compliance oversight.
The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in quality management, project management, and security risk practices, with experience across onshore critical infrastructure and offshore environments. Maritime and international security risk management experience, particularly in developing markets such as PNG and South Africa, will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quality systems including documentation, complaints, vendor qualification, audits, and KPIs within the Security Division.
- Provide expert guidance and support on all quality and risk-related matters across the division.
- Foster a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic risk-based thinking.
- Conduct audits of security-related activities to ensure conformance with internal procedures and external standards.
- Supervise the QA team and Security Division, acting as delegate to the Head of Quality when required.
- Lead project management initiatives, reporting, and efficiency programs across all levels of the division.
- Support the ongoing certification and compliance of ISO9001 Quality Management systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of functional guidance documentation, risk management frameworks, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards relating to security, quality, safety, risk, and environmental management.
About You – Requirements
- Security Risk Management qualification (Certificate IV or higher, or equivalent).
- AQF Bachelor Degree or equivalent, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ practical experience in quality management across security, risk, and project management environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality systems, documentation, and compliance.
- Strong project management skills, including team coordination and multi-program oversight.
- Maritime security and law enforcement experience.
- Offshore (international) security and risk management experience, ideally in PNG and South Africa.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a skilled team and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other software platforms.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver results under pressure.
- Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental protection, and high-quality service delivery.
