The National Trust of South Australia (NTSA) invites a bold and creative leader to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer during a pivotal time in our history. This is a unique opportunity to reimagine what’s possible, put your mark on our new Strategic Plan, and lead execution with ambition and innovation.
You’ll be charged with guiding a much-loved institution into a new era of relevance, financial sustainability, and community impact while honouring our heritage roots.
About Us: Our mission is to champion the preservation of South Australia’s natural, built and cultural heritage for current and future generations. NTSA is an independent not-for-profit membership organisation founded in 1955. With 46 Branches across the state, NTSA protects and celebrates South Australia’s heritage, building a diverse and connected community for heritage preservation.
We manage over 130 heritage places and work with an extraordinary volunteer network. Our new Strategic Plan provides a bold roadmap for transformation and growth.
What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial CEO—someone who thrives in transformation environments, enjoys reimagining legacy organisations, and has the grit to drive real outcomes.
This role will suit a leader with experience in scale-up settings who possesses the drive to rebuild an organisation. You’ll also bring high-level stakeholder engagement, business acumen, and governance expertise.
You will:
● Drive the execution of a five year Strategic Plan and one year Action Plans
● Lead financial reinvention and business model transformation
● Build collaborative partnerships with Branches, government, donors and corporate stakeholders
● Inspire a culture of purpose, performance and innovation
● Salary package: $180,000 + Super
● Full-time preferred | Flexibility to 4 days/week for the right candidate
● Based in Ayers House, Adelaide, with regional engagement required
● Some evening and weekend events involved
