My Client are a National Commercial Builder that deliver new build projects Australia wide across multiple sectors including Sports, Industrial, Infrastructure, Commercial, Education and Residential. They're in a great position with good financial backing, project pipeline is secure and their relationship with clients is repeat.
They're now looking for a Project coordinator to come onboard and join the project team in the south-east for a $30M Industrial/Infrastructure build.
**As a Project coordinator you'll be expected to undertake the following**:
- Assisting the Estimators preparing pre-qualifications and tenders.
- Assisting the Project Manager and Site Manager during all phases of the construction process.
- Conformity of all construction activities with Company procedures / policies and with WHS Act, WHS Regulations, EPA Act and all Codes of Practice.
- Conformance to time schedules, budgets and performance criteria.
- Collating deliverables required for practical completion.
- Managing project close out and archiving.
- Manage the RFI process with subcontractors, consultant and clients.
- Reviewing variations and claims on current projects.
- Carrying out take-offs of quantities.
**What you need to succeed in this role**:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator within Commercial Construction
- Project exposure $10m +
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Civil engineering, Construction management, Building economics
- Knowledge of Cheops, Primavera, MS Office
- Ability to be autonomous and work well within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication
