About the Role We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sanitation Team Leading Hand to join our warehouse team on a weekend shift. In this role, you will lead and supervise sanitation staff during overnight cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO9000. This position is critical to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient facility that consistently meets customer and regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities Supervise sanitation team members and oversee nightly cleaning of plant equipment and facilities Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are upheld in line with regulatory and company requirements Collaborate with management to plan and review sanitation activities Provide daily shift reports and regular updates on equipment, chemical inventory, and staff performance Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance cleaning efficiency Manage staff scheduling and provide coverage during absences Maintain detailed records and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance Enforce safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and tools What We're Looking For Previous supervisory experience in sanitation or food processing environments Knowledge of HACCP, ISO9000, and other relevant food safety standards Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to lead a team effectively under limited supervision Competence in maintaining sanitation records and conducting performance appraisals Commitment to safety and quality assurance Availability to work weekend overnight shifts consistently What We Offer weekend schedule - overnight hours - 4pm to 4am Opportunities for training and growth Located in epping Competitive hourly rate $50-70 per hour At HOBAN we encourage applications from people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people of all genders, LGBTI people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
