Role Overview:
We're seeking a strategic Director of Corporate Risk Management to lead our risk management framework, oversee compliance initiatives, and provide expert guidance to executive leadership. You'll play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact organisational objectives.
What You'll Do:
* Lead corporate risk management strategy and governance frameworks.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and strategic risks.
* Oversee compliance programs, policies, and internal controls.
* Provide expert risk advice to executive leadership and the board.
* Drive a risk-aware culture across the organisation.
* Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
What We're Looking For:
* Extensive experience in corporate risk management, compliance, or governance leadership.
* Strong understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks relevant to Canberra/Australia.
* Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
