**Job Title:** Senior Lecturer in Dentistry and Oral Health
The La Trobe Rural Health School is a leading institution in rural health education. We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and an excellent student experience that prepares students to be the dental practitioners of the future.
The discipline of dentistry and oral health delivers undergraduate courses in Dental Science and Oral Health Science. Our network of specialist leads and clinical educators supports our delivery model to produce outstanding oral health practitioners.
As a senior lecturer, you will play a major role in developing curriculum, teaching, and/or undertaking research and/or other scholarly work relevant to Dentistry and Oral Health. You will make a significant contribution to the discipline at the national level and provide leadership in scholarly, research, and/or professional activities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Completion of a PhD or equivalent accreditation
* Demonstrated effectiveness in curriculum development and teaching
* Strong record of research publication with appropriate evidence of quality and impact
* Demonstrated record of achievement as a leading practitioner with a reputation for skills, knowledge, and expertise at a state/national level
* Skills in the preparation for Higher Education teaching defined by evidence of a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education or evidence of equivalent professional preparation for Higher Education teaching (e.g. FHEA)
* Demonstrated evidence of full registration as a general dentist or a specialist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
