About the Service

LikeMind is an innovative mental health service funded by the Ministry of Health, providing a one-stop hub and support for people aged 25 to 65 years experiencing or having experienced mental health issues.

Role Overview

The Mental Health Clinician is a key frontline position within the LikeMind service.

* Responsible for brief and ongoing interventions and the development of collaborative individual care plans for people aged 25-65 years.
* You will work autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians to plan and develop services for individuals with mental health issues and their families.
* You will provide evidence-based, best practice interventions, comprehensive assessments, and care planning.
* Participate in clinical review and quality assurance processes.
* Attend business and professional development meetings, and contribute to community partnerships with key external stakeholders.


Requirements

* General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (with mental health accreditation), or AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registration.
* Knowledge and experience in clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.
* Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating understanding of assessment and care planning.
* Sound understanding of mental health systems and related community programs.
* Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records.
* Understanding of duty of care, privacy, and confidentiality.
* Positive, solution-focused attitude with commitment to service improvement and personal growth.
* Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Must be eligible for or currently hold a WWCC.
* Willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
