Landscaping Career Starter
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our landscape construction team as an Apprentice Landscaper.
This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in designing and transforming landscapes, working alongside qualified tradespeople.
You will assist with the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
In addition, you will learn how to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery, while adhering to all health and safety standards.
As part of our team, you will work closely with us to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard, while also learning to work efficiently in a busy landscaping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with landscape preparation and installation, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
* Learn to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
* Adhere to health and safety standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
* Work closely with the team to complete projects to a high standard.
* Learn to work efficiently in a fast-paced landscaping environment.
Requirements:
* A passion for Construction and commitment to delivering results.
* Holding a current White Card or ability to obtain ASAP is essential.
* A reliable driver's license and own transport are required.
* Participation in a Pre-Apprenticeship course or Certificate I or II Construction course is advantageous.
* Work Experience within the Construction industry is highly desirable.
* Must be physically fit & able to work outdoors.
* Able to take direction and thrive in a team environment.
