Permanent full time - 7am to 3pm; 38 hours per week. No Experience Required. Earn while you learn! Sporting sites across Canberra, parking available on site.
About the role
Embark on a rewarding learning journey as an Apprentice Sports Turf Manager at prestigious locations such as AFL & NRL fields, Private Schools, Memorial Sites in ACT. Alongside your practical duties in maintaining sports fields and green areas, you'll also attend weekly classroom learning sessions. This four-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement. At the end of the program, you'll be prepared to take on roles as a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence.
Responsibilities
* Prepare turf wickets and mark lines on sporting fields.
* Perform garden services including mowing, pruning, and weeding.
* Identify and treat weeds, pests, and diseases.
* Handle chemicals safely and operate horticultural equipment.
* Lead by example and mentor team members.

About You
* No prior experience required
* Valid Drivers' licence
