About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our IT operations and infrastructure team, providing exceptional support to our group's users.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Helpdesk Team to ensure timely completion of support requests and infrastructure incidents.
* Oversee and coordinate external service providers.
* Lead on exciting IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services.
* Manage our infrastructure, systems, devices, and licenses to ensure seamless operation.
* Engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and propose effective solutions.
* Work closely with our HR team to facilitate seamless employee onboarding and offboarding.
* Provide support to various onsite-based teams as needed.
Requirements
* A current driver's license and reliable transport.
* Relevant industry qualifications (MCSE/CCNA) or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated leadership experience in supporting 100 or more users within a small to medium-sized company.
* Experience supporting traditional virtualised environments, including Microsoft Server, Exchange, and VMware.
* Proficiency in supporting network and firewall infrastructures, such as Cisco Meraki and Cisco ASA.
* Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure implementations and Office365 (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive).
* Experience with backup systems for both traditional and cloud instances (Veeam, CloudAlly).
* Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management.
