Act as site lead for physical security compliance in accordance with security management plans and the Australian government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Once established, oversee the ongoing management of facilities including maintenance, security, and the coordination, with ILS managers, of logistics support to operations. This may include management responsibilities for logistics coordinators, facility supervisors, and subcontracted maintenance staff.

Liaise with Commonwealth representatives, airport authorities, and subcontractors to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Support emergency response, safety, and incident management procedures.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Strong logistical, analytical, and organisational capability.

Proactive and hands‑on leader able to operate across technical, commercial, and operational domains and both get in the weeds and be strategic.

Detail‑oriented with a commitment to compliance, safety, security and mission success.

Adaptable and resilient under tight timeframes and operational pressure.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sometimes high‑pressure environment.
