We are seeking a Credit Management Professional to lead our credit team and contribute to the success of our business.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced credit professional to join our finance team and take on a leadership role in managing daily credit operations, workflow management, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily credit operations and ensure efficient workflow management
* Lead, coach, and inspire a team of credit professionals to deliver exceptional service and results
* Conduct regular debtor ledger and credit limit reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Manage escalated queries and resolve issues within delegation
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance team productivity
* Prepare ad-hoc reports and support the commercial credit manager
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH
* Foster a customer-first, collaborative team culture that values open communication and continuous learning
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar credit leadership position
* Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth through effective credit management
* Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to motivate and develop team members
* Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
* Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and drive agreements
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Office to manage financial data and reports
