We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in residential out-of-home care at our therapeutic properties.
 * Provide emotional support and guidance to young people exhibiting challenging behaviors.
 * Develop and implement daily care plans to promote social, educational, cultural, and emotional growth.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Teaching life skills and developing support documentation.
 * Assessing developmental progress and creating activity plans.
 * Using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques to safely support behaviors.
Qualifications
 * Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent qualification.
 * Australian Driver's Licence (Open or P2).
 * Licensed Care Service check through the department.
 * First Aid and CPR certificates.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information
Desirable attributes include understanding of trauma-informed practices, previous TCI training, completion of Hope & Healing modules, experience working directly with children and families, and a flexible and adaptable nature.
