The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options.
It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.The Porter, reporting to the Senior Porter, is the primary point of contact for our valued guests and visitors.
Your role will be diverse, from delivering luggage to guest rooms and parking or retrieving vehicles, to offering insights on local attractions and events to our guests.A few of your responsibilities:Transport and store luggage as required by guestsEnsure efficient and courteous handling of all guest arrivals and departuresEnsure all guest enquiries and requests are handled professionallyEnsure current familiarity with hotel, including guest rooms, restaurants, bars, convention, and casinoPark and collect guest / patrons' vehicles promptly and without damageComplete all valet dockets clearly and correctlyAssist Doorman as requiredWhat we are looking for:Prior experience in a similar capacityValid driver's licenceExceptional presentation and communication skillsAffinity for the Brisbane area, including knowledge of the local community and its surroundingsStrong organizational skills for coordinating guest requests and tasksAbility to work seamlessly within a team environmentAvailability for 24/7 rotating shiftsAbout you:We are seeking dedicated individuals who have a sincere appreciation to deliver exceptional customer service.
