The Capability and Performance Division champions a culture of excellence by enhancing systems, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration. With a strong focus on outcomes, the division is responsible for supporting strategic planning, upholding robust governance, and prioritising operational efficiency consistent with best practice in public sector service delivery. Through collaborative partnerships, teams work together to ensure frontline business areas can deliver fantastic outcomes to the Western Australian community.

The division supports cross functional teams across CITS and comprises of the following directorates: Corporate Communications Corporate Services, including Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Digital and Technology Services, Information Management, and Facilities Management Strategy and Performance Accountability, encompassing Strategic Policy, Corporate Governance, Risk and Audit, and Performance Reporting Legal Services State Records Office Finance About the role

We are seeking a highly driven strategic leader with a solid track record of delivering outcomes at an executive level. This role leverages the expertise and capacity of the division to support the timely delivery of government priorities and election commitments alongside frontline service delivery areas. As a key member of the CITS Corporate Executive leadership team, you will work in collaboration with cross functional leaders to champion continuous improvement, strategic initiatives, provide operational oversight, and manage a multi-functional team to support the agency’s ongoing growth and transformation.

We are looking for leader with: Proven leadership skills in developing and implementing portfolio strategy, transformation and reform, to enhance services and outcomes, aligned with Government's strategic objectives and priorities. Extensive understanding and knowledge of strategies, policies and systems to deliver contemporary solutions and exceptional customer services. Excellent management and communication skills with experience in engaging multi-disciplinary teams to deliver constructive outcomes.

The ability to effectively influence, manage and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders, to resolve complex issues and achieve shared outcomes We have available one full time, fixed term Senior Executive Service (SES) appointment for up to five years.
